Zwarte Zon: Een persoonlijke blik op het onpersoonlijke (VZLA publicatie, december 2014)

Toen mij gevraagd werd een lezing over de Zwarte Zon te geven, eerst door de ASAS en daarna door de VZLA, raakte ik eerst een beetje in paniek. Wat zou ik aan al dat buitengewone werk van topastrologen als George Bode, Peter Delahay en Wout Hendrckx nog kunnen toevoegen? Deze reactie klopte precies met de prominente posities van de zwarte lichten in mijn horoscoop. Toch waren het diezelfde posities die mij in staat stelden beide van nature onpersoonlijke krachten in een meer persoonlijk licht te plaatsen. Deze belichting wil ik in dit artikel met de lezer delen. Allereerst een korte schets van hoe de Zwarte Zon werd ‘ontdekt’ en van de voornaamste processen die hem worden toegeschreven, met daarna een beknopte vergelijking tussen hem en de (Witte) Zon, om af te ronden met enkele opmerkingen over zijn rol in de horoscoop van Mahatma Gandhi. Al is deze eeuw nog jong, de ontdekkingen in alle takken van wetenschap en techniek zijn duizelingwekkend. Oude aannames over de werkelijkheid worden onderuit gehaald. De resultaten van experimenten met sub-atomaire deeltjes lijken meer op magie dan op de wereld van de tastbare feiten die wij tot nu toe als ware werkelijkheid hebben beschouwd. De wetenschap is op zijn kop gezet. Al deze ontwikkelingen en ook die inzake het milieu en de samenleving maken een nieuw paradigma noodzakelijk. De renaissance van de astrologie vanaf de jaren 60 ging gepaard met het begin van een ‘New Age’ beweging waarin spiritualiteit en bewustwording centraal staan. Vaak zijn de mensen die nu een consult bij een astroloog vragen jaren bezig met hun eigen bewustwordingsproces. Vooral voor deze mensen is het gebruik van de Zwarte Lichten om naar de essentie te kunnen doordringen essentieel. De horoscoopbesprekingen die ik gekozen heb zijn van cliënten die belemmeringen ervaarden met gedrag/aanleg die in psychologisch/maatschappelijke termen ‘afwijkend’ genoemd zou worden, maar vanuit een universeel gezichtspunt een andere betekenis heeft. The Black Moon ( Astrology of the Invisible Luminaries on Facebook)

The Black Moon can be seen as the counterpoint of the Moon and therefore represents influences which are the opposite of those with which the Moon is associated. In contrast to the reproduction, reaction and maintenance principles of the Moon, a cycle which repeats itself endlessly, the Black Moon represents the principle of REJECTION. She rejects repetition and for that reason rejects the mass, the average, the ordinary, the normal – she abhors everything which regularly appears as well as multiplicity itself. In contrast to the Moon, which maintains life, the Black Moon maintains consciousness. Read more

One question often posed with regard to the Invisible Luminaries is how these points can be seen in relation to and integrated into the rest of the birth chart. It would be a mistake to isolate the interpretation of the Black Moon or the Black Sun. To begin with, both of the these luminaries form an endpoint to each of their respective axes: the point opposite the Black Moon is Priapus, and the point opposite the Black Sun is the Diamond (see my earlier articles on these axes). But just as the Invisible Luminaries are both included in their respective axes, so too do they have a relationship with each other, just as the (White) Sun and Moon are inextricably bound to each other astrologically in the birth and development  of forming ones emotional and psychological identity. The Total Soiar Eclipse of March 9, 2016 and the U.S. Presidential Race (Astrology of the Invisible Luminaries on Facebook)

Two items which have dominated social media recently are the Total Solar Eclipse of March 9^th  and the U.S. Presidential race. As an American-born astrologer it therefore behooves me to investigate the implications the former has for the latter. The paucity of serious analysis of the solar eclipse is, moreover, a thorn in the eye for astrologers whose work is not aimed at increasing readership or pacifying fears with superficial descriptions of ‘dramatic crises’ and ‘growth and new beginnings’.  Although these descriptions do apply to eclipses to a certain degree, they are hardly sufficient for an examination of the multiple facets of the times we live in, nor do they do justice to the method of astrology conceivably as old as the science itself. Therefore, at the risk of presenting information which may, for some, be old news, in this article I will summarize the most useful steps in delineating an eclipse horoscope, including an explanation of the influence of the spiritual points. After that I will apply these steps to an analysis of the eclipse of 9 March 2016 and its synastry with the chart of the U.S.A. Then I will take a brief look at how the eclipse fell in the horoscopes of the four who were the frontrunners in the U.S. Presidential race at the time, with a brief look at developments culminating on November 8. As the Professional Code of Astrologers to which I adhere prohibits making predictions, not to mention my awareness of the proof which has been afforded by quantum science on the role thought plays in creating reality, this analysis will restrict itself to providing insight into the cosmic processes which underlies these mundane events.
